Humankind has evolved throughout time. Our past fears of the unknown or of the world being flat or the like have faded away as our collected experiences and knowledge have literally propelled us to the moon and beyond. The Sikh Information Centre wants to contribute to the ever growing experiences of humankind by humbly sharing from the Sikh perspective. We believe that more than ever there is a need for a multi-cultural and interfaith dialogue to enhance understanding.

We are here to serve the Sikh and world communities. Sikhs frequently suffer injustices around the world, particularly in India, where they are the victims of ongoing state-sponsored pogroms and religiously fundamentalist violence. Our intention is to play a constructive role in the human dialogue, to encourage the exchange of information, and to enhance the learning of non-Sikhs. We hope to do this by disseminating information and fostering interaction and friendship between Sikhs and non-Sikhs.
